Why private yoga classes?

Different from basic classes, private lessons are a customized one on one experience with an instructor. Private lessons can bring about improvements to one’s mental and physical health and help one achieve personal yoga goals.Whether new to the yoga game, needing rehabilitation from an injury, or just wanting to take your practice deeper, one on one instruction could help you reach your goals.


Beginners
Beginning yoga students can feel overwhelmed, particularly during the first few classes. It can seem difficult to keep up and based on the individual's flexibility it might require a little work before it becomes easier to get into different poses. Private lessons  can help you get started. A private yoga instructor shows each move personally and can help improve alignement immediately, which makes it easier to get started and move into a studio class.

Personal Goals
Private yoga lessons offer students the ability to focus on personal interests, concerns or goals. Instead of following along with the yoga instructor in a class setting, a private session is customized to target specific areas that may be creating imbalances in the body and addresses personal goals for flexibility, strength or stress reduction. An instructor teaching in a private setting takes the information about the yoga practitioner’s goals and creates a personalized routine based on the information.

Health Concerns
Injuries and health concerns can make a normal yoga class impractical for some participants. Health concerns including all stages of pregnancy, diabetes, recent surgeries, recovering from illness, and heart disease require special care but still allows you to contintue your yoga practice.


Lifetime Practitioners
Although beginners can benefit from private lessons to gain confidence and learn safe practices, private lessons also are beneficial for any level of practitioner. Private instruction can allow one to take their yoga practice to the next level and any stage of learning.

WHY WE LVE YOGA

I love that it is a total body workout. It always feels like I have accomplished something when I finish class and I always feel better after doing yoga, physically & mentally. I love that it forces you to be in the moment and focus on what you are doing. It is a great way to work on the mind/body connection and it helps me to ease and relax my mind. Yoga has helped me pinpoint and work on my imbalances from daily living.
