In Vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.
In this 2 hour "Flow Into Basics" workshop Katie will break postures down with breath, give you alignment techniques and modifications. She will provide the foundation for arm balances and inversions including side crow and headstand.
RYT with Yoga Alliance are eligible for 2 contact hours CEC when attending this workshop.
Detailed Movement and Assessment Workshop

Detailed movement assessment utilizing a deep understand of musculoskeletal anatomy and human kinetics to identify areas of aberrant or limited movement and/or pain, followed by a lecture on how to turn assessment into intervention. We will take specific Yoga poses, movements, and/or exercises that would help restore that motion.
